Berger Farm Burials

Franklin Township, Est. 1850s

This is more of a family burial plot than a cemetery. Located at about 0250 east US #40 (Old National Road) just about 2 miles east of Dunreith, IN near the McBride machine shop. It was the home of the John Berger family for many years. The old Berger log home was disassembled and moved to Conner Prairie Farm a few years ago. All that remains of the burials is a lone pine tree at the site. No stones are visible. Mr. Albert Anderson of Spiceland, IN, a great-grandson to John and Margaret Berger, furnished these names to Tom Mahill for his cemetery inventories.
