This old pioneer cemetery located in section #34, on county road #850 north at its inter-section with county road #600 west in Fall Creek township, Henry county, IN, is one of the older cemeteries in Fall Creek township that is still in use.    The cemetery, 16 square poles originally, was first started on land donated by John Carter to the original trustees of The United Brethren Church; Samuel Cunningham, Henry Spee and Samuel Painter when the church was organized on 4 Jul 1840 as the Upper Honey Creek United Brethren. The cemetery has two separate parts, the old part, and the newer part that is directly southwest of the original cemetery and is still being used.    In 2001 I recorded the old part, Section #1. Others have recorded the rest about forty years ago. The newer part, southwest across the road from the old cemetery, has yet to be recorded. So any burials after about 1960 have yet to be recorded. The Sexton lives east of the cemetery down the road about two hundred yards, next to the church, and has the names and location of the later burials. This cemetery is the main cemetery used by the residents of Fall Creek Township and is well maintained by the Cemetery Board and the Sexton.
