I, Samuel Bundy, of Henry County and State of Indiana, do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at anytime heretofore made.
1st
I direct that my body be decently interred and that my funeral be conducted in a manner corresponding with my situation in life and as to such worldly estate as it pleases God to entrust me with, I dispose of the same in the following manner.
2nd
I direct that all of my just debts and funeral expense be paid as soon after my decease as possible out of the first money that may come into the hands of my executor.
3rd
I give and bequeath to my wife Marian Bundy all of my estate, both real and personal, after paying all of my debts and funeral expense, to be absolutely hers during her natural life or so long as she remains my widow, and at her death or remarriage, I direct that all of my estate both real and personal remaining indisposed of by her be sold and reduced to money, and the money divided among my children as follows; Giving the home to my wife, in case of her second marriage, the portion allotted to widows by laws of Indiana and I give it as my conical to her in case of her second marriage, to hold all of her property in her own name, that it may descend to her children at her death.
4th
I give and bequeath to each of my sons; James H. Bundy, Samuel Bundy, Madison Bundy, Jason Bundy, Jarrod Bundy, William P. Q. Bundy and Martin Bundy two shares each. To my daughters, Mary M. Scott, Marian Roberts, Rebbeca A. Bundy, Morticia Bundy, one share each, and to Sara Jane Moore, one share. To the heirs of Susan Ellis, deceased. To wit: Marian Louisa, Margaret Amy and Samuel A Ellis, fifty dollars each. To the only heir of Peggy D. Moore, deceased, to wit; Margaret Marian Moore, fifty dollars.
5th
I give and bequeath to my daughter Ann Eliza Scott, wife of Martin Scott, ten dollars, her share is thus cut off on account of my having paid for Martin about three-hundred dollars as his security.
6th
Lastly I hereby make and ordain my wife Marian Bundy executrix, and my son Madison Bundy executor of this my last will and testament.

The following is my codicil to the foregoing will. Whereas Jarred Bundy has purchased of me a certain tract of land lying in Henry county, Indiana, particularly described in a title bond signed by me and dated September 25, 1858, which bond is yet unpaid for, I hereby direct that, so soon as the conditions of said bond is complied with, that my executors make and deliver to said Jane a good deed of conveyance for said land.

{State of Indiana, Henry County} Personally appeared before me, John C. Huddelson, Clerk of the court of common appeals of said county, Aaron Bird, one of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing will and testament of Samuel Bundy, deceased, who being duly sworn says that he saw the said Samuel Bundy sign and heard him publish and declare the foregoing to be his last will and testament, that this affiant and one Samuel W. Harland, subscribe their names to the will as witnesses in the presence of the said testator and in the presence of ach other, and at the request of the said testator, that at the time of executing the said will, said testator was of full age to devise his property, to wit, about the age of 61 years and not under coercion or restraint, and of sound mind and memory.
